Houston, Texas... The dirty dirty dirty south. Honestly, I expected more from the city. I stayed not too far from the University of Houston's main campus and to be quite honest with you if it was not for the friends I had there, I would not return. One thing I absolutely will remember was the food, my God the food is amazing. I tend to prefer Mom and Pop food places over the bougie restaurants. It's like the chefs put their soul in the food. There was not much to see and can you believe they charge you to see their subpar museums *gasps*. Well, at least the museums I visited. Maybe its because I am from Maryland and have such easy access to the FREE museums in Washington, DC. Overall, would I go back to Houston? Meehhh, maybe to see a couple friends and enjoy the nightlife but that's probably about it. Granted, I did go in the Winter. Maybe I can be open-minded and go in the Summer.
