Bonjour, Bienvenue à Paris mes amours! Paris is indeed everything that I imagined it to be. I went on an European tour with my boyfriend and our first destination was of course the city of love, Paris. I would love to go again but in the Summer. We made the mistake of traveling during peak winter weather and it was way too cold! We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas at Lyon, Paris, France, and stayed at 9Hotel Bastille. I realized in Europe everything is not as big as it is in America. The hotel was pretty small but it was just two of us and it was pretty affordable, so it was perfectly fine. Our hotel was about an eight-minute drive to downtown Paris and about a thirty-minute drive from Charles de Gaulle Airport. At the time, public transportation was not an option due to an ongoing strike so we had to take Taxis everywhere which was pretty expensive. Due to us going on a holiday not many places were open so we weren't able to visit many tourist attractions sites. I feel the need to mention this because I am such a foodie. European food is so much better than American food!! Everything tastes like they grew it in their backyard and made special for us. The food quality is just better overall but it is pretty expensive. Paris is overall aesthetically pleasing and I would 100% go again but just in the summertime with warmer weather because it was FREEEZZZIINNG!

TIP: It is cheaper to fly into European countries from other European countries. We started by flying into London then took off from there. We also booked our flights and hotels months ahead due to Christmas and New Years' is high travel season. Also, you NEED an adapter if you want to charge your phones and laptops, they're pretty cheap and worked it in almost every European country we visited.

Bonjour, Bienvenue à Paris mes amours! Paris is indeed everything.

*Disclaimer: Everything mentioned either I have experienced personally or they were highly recommended to me. Research is highly recommended before your trip. Although my experiences were great does not mean yours will and I can not speak on behalf of these places.
