"Hail! Grenada, land of ours. We pledge ourselves to thee!" I will visit this place again and again and again. I don't know if it was the feeling like I had stepped foot back home in Nigeria or it was the way the sun glistened on the beautiful clear oceans. Honestly, this is probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited in my life. The people are so friendly, the food is *chefs kiss*, and the island is just gorgeous. I went on a girls trip of what would be considered the Spring here in the United States. There were a few days of rain but nonetheless I enjoyed myself. I stayed at Mount Cinnamon Grenada Resort. Breakfast was included in the package and we had unlimited access to the beach which was right behind our resort. We traveled in groups and even if we didn't I still felt safe. I will admit though when we were alone we did not travel far from the resort. The island is pretty small and we were able to visit most of the island in a day. Overall, everything was very affordable and if you're into spices, visiting the market is a must. Grenada you will see me again one day. PS: It was highly recommended to me to visit during their Carnival season which is in August. I recommend booking your ticket months ahead and resorts are always better than hotels.
